We are seeking a driven, knowledgeable Senior Media Planner with digital media planning expertise to join our team of media professionals. The Senior Media Planner is responsible for strategizing with the account and client teams on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs. They will also support agency media planning, buying and analytics services across digital, programmatic, social and search channels. This client-facing position will collaborate across functions to deliver an effective strategy to meet clients’ goals.
Collaborate with the Media, Account and Creative teams to develop strategies and plans.
Create and present media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions.
Support team in media plan development stage to collect RFP responses from partners/ sites, and assist in analyzing proposals and partner negotiations.
Manage day-to-day communication with key partners: clients, vendors, and partner agencies.
Build campaign performance reports for the client that are inclusive of information from third party servers and site direct reporting.
Garner insights from performance reports, data and analytics. Experience with Datorama or other data visualization tools is a plus.
Manage asset distribution, budgeting, and audience targeting within paid media Channels (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Programmatic DSPs, Site Direct, etc.).
Support agency media planning, buying and analytics services across digital, programmatic, social and search channels.
Explore media alternatives and be able to determine the solution, deliver the recommendation, and stand behind it.
Maintains media budgets or media spend summaries by staying abreast of all invoice, billing and delivery issues; know when to escalate discrepancies to supervisors.
Maintain and grow relationships with all media representatives and seek ways to better communicate with buying influence and become more informed on market conditions.
Attend or bring media presentations in-house to evaluate new information/services and maintain good rapport with sales representatives.
Manage multiple deliverables/client accounts with the ability to prioritize and seamlessly transition among them.
Be a strategic thought leader outside of the day-to-day management of campaigns.
You will work to develop high-level understanding of media concepts beyond the digital vertical (TV, cable, print, radio and lifestyle) to build effective integrated campaign strategies.
3-5+ years experience in a Assistant Media Planner/Media Planner role at a digital agency
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Working knowledge of some offline and online research tools (MRI-Simmons/Scarborough, Kantar Advertising Insights (Vivvix), Pathmatics, Claritas 360, Reach/Frequency tools, comScore, eMarketer - Insider Intelligence, Helixa)
Proficiency with V-Lookups & Pivot Tables
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Google suite of products
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Expected to be proficient in planning and negotiating across the following channels:
Programmatic digital, connected TV, podcasts, site-direct, and paid social.
Strong experience with Google Campaign Manager
Excellent quantitative, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of paid social campaign management
Strong knowledge of industry and market trends that shape the direction of the digital experience by incorporating market, technology, and business trends
Experience with analysis of reporting through Web analytics programs (such as Google Analytics)
Working knowledge of paid search campaign management
Ability to collaborate and build inter-agency relationships
At Questus, our compensation approach aligns with a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding outstanding individual and team achievements. For this role, the salary range is typically $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year. The final base pay is determined by factors like location, job-related skills, experience, and internal equity. Additionally, permanent employees may qualify for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to specific eligibility criteria.
