You are capable of both big-picture thinking and hands-on planning, working with our account, media, and creative teams to make sure our output always brilliantly answers the brief. The Director of Experience Strategy will gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations for business actions. As a Director of Experience Strategy, you are also expected to have high-level knowledge about political, economic, social, and technological factors that may impact the agency, or our clients’ line of business.
We use quantitative and qualitative tools and inputs to find compelling industry and audience truths. We’re active and collaborative partners across the agency, from idea through implementation.
We are looking for a Director of Experience Strategist to develop complex consumer journey maps, as well as develop creative, editorial, and connections plans, putting innovative ideas and experiences into action. You will uncover ways to reach the consumer in differentiated ways across media, creative and messaging. Our approach embraces data and insights while seeking emerging mediums, channels, and technology that evolve traditional marketing and sales strategies.
Gather business insights from a variety of data sources and lead day-to-day vendor partnerships.
Use econometric modeling and decision calculus to assess economic impacts on businesses at all levels and sectors.
Compile business insights or trends to support actionable insights and client-facing recommendations.
Lead consumer journey mapping and provide insights/recommendations for each touchpoint.
Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends.
Summarize financial and economic data reports for internal and external (client) review.
Present findings to clients (internal and external) as necessary.
Represent the agency in panels, roundtables, conferences, etc.
Conduct training sessions to help educate team members about the importance, processes, and impacts of business insights and consumer journey on agency and client success.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Occasional travel to client
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering required; MA or MBA degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in business insights or business analysis.
Proficiency in business insights tools (Tableau, R, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and willingness to assume greater responsibility.
Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
Solid understanding of the foundational models used to determine business insights analysis and reporting.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Strong written, presentation, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range: $125k - $160k
