You also have a solid understanding of business strategy, branding, and marketing. You have the ability to anticipate hurdles and roadblocks to success and proactively take actions to mitigate potential problems and/or realize potential opportunities.
Position Overview:
As Account Director, you will be responsible for the management and growth of assigned accounts, as well as the successful delivery of client deliverables. You love digital marketing, and want to bring that passion to a boutique agency where your voice and leadership really counts.
With your leadership, you will ensure that each project meets business and marketing goals, and is mutually beneficial for both the client and for Questus. You will support your team in understanding the goals and strategy behind each project by asking the right questions, and applying learnings from your years of experience.
Essential Functions:
Own and foster client relationships, and ensure client satisfaction
Drive growth and digital innovation across assigned accounts
Understand client business, brand and marketing objectives, and ensure projects are delivered successfully and on strategy
Lead strategy and planning for client projects (digital and social), from kickoff to completion
Lead multiple, concurrent accounts/projects which meet agency success metrics
Provide team leadership, establishing a foundation of teamwork amongst assigned account and across the agency
Participate in agency business development opportunities and/or new business pitches as needed
Produce well-written, strategic briefs and present them confidently
Manage, mentor, and provide guidance & support for direct reports
Oversee the development of project plans, ensuring that project and profitability objectives are met
Drive organic year-over-year growth with assigned accounts
Occasional travel to client
Qualifications:
At least 7+ years of working in an advertising agency managing digital projects
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related field
Expertise in integrated marketing, reaching the target audience throughout their consumer journey with strategic content, channel and media approaches
Expertise in managing creative development and media services, with a focus on social media (influencer, platform, content, and audience targeting & measurement strategies, etc.)
Excels in presenting to large audiences, including senior-level executives, and able to have strategic business conversations around how core marketing initiatives drive business results (awareness of the brand, sales and revenue, etc.)
Enjoys a fast-paced environment and excels in it
Calm under pressure, and able to do what it takes the get the job done
Strong time-management and organizational skills; able to multi-task and juggle multiple projects running in parallel
Strong client-service orientation and proven team player
Positive and solutions-oriented
Superior presentation, written and oral communication skills
Highly-developed analytical & problem solving skills
Project Management background a huge plus
Video Production Management experience a huge plus
At Questus, our compensation approach aligns with a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding outstanding individual and team achievements. For this role, the salary range is typically $120,000 - $135,000 USD per year. The final base pay is determined by factors like location, job-related skills, experience, and internal equity. Additionally, permanent employees may qualify for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to specific eligibility criteria.
