Account Supervisor

Position Description:

As Account Supervisor, you will work hand-in-hand with the Account Director on strategy discussions, while being responsible for the successful delivery and management of assigned projects—digital, social, production, web, or integrated marketing campaigns.

Your experience is core to digital marketing, and you can successfully contribute to large-scale digital campaigns that drive results. With your leadership style, you will help to ensure that each project meets business and marketing goals, and is mutually beneficial for both the client and for Questus. You will support your team in understanding the goals and strategy behind each project by asking the right questions, and applying learnings from past projects. You also demonstrate the ability to use key tenets of project management: project definition, scope management, risk management, hand-off management, and team management.

You will support the Account Team in overall account growth.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Foster client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

  • Understand client business, brand and marketing objectives, and ensure assigned projects are delivered successfully on time, on budget, and on strategy

  • Instrumental in guiding strategy, planning, and production for assigned projects with Account Director (digital, social, marketing, traditional, and web), from kickoff to completion

  • Provide team leadership, and establish a foundation of teamwork amongst assigned account

  • Lead multiple, concurrent projects that meet agency success metrics

  • Review, analyze and evaluate agency output against client needs and objectives

  • Clearly and effectively drive internal and client communication

  • Present ideas and status updates to the client throughout the stages of each project

  • Manage internal and client demands with mutually beneficial solutions

  • Produce well-written, strategic briefs and present them confidently and independently

  • Define and help to develop project plans, estimates and scopes, and financial tracking to ensure that project and profitability objectives are met accordingly

  • Maintain organized project documentation (notes, status sheets, internal and external recap emails, etc.)

  • Identify risks, build contingency plans, and allocate appropriate resources to assigned projects

  • Act as a point of contact for clients on assigned projects

  • Sell new ideas and proposals to clients, as appropriate


  • At least 5 years of Account Management work experience

  • At least 3 years of working in an advertising agency managing digital projects

  • Management experience is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree required (degree in business, marketing, or related field is a plus)

  • Enjoys a fast-paced environment and excels in it

  • Able to multi-task and juggle multiple projects running in parallel

  • Calm under pressure, and able to do what it takes the get the job done, even amid ambiguity

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to own project workstreams from commencement to completion confidently, autonomously and with the utmost attention to detail to ensure error-free deliverables

  • Ability to navigate team and project challenges with a positive and solutions-oriented attitude, while exemplifying leadership and diplomacy

  • Excels in collaborative environments, working with internal resources and departments, client teams, and external partners such as vendors and freelancers

  • Adaptive to evolving responsibilities and last minute changes

  • Superior presentation, written and oral communication skills

  • Strong client-service orientation and proven team player

  • Expertise in digital advertising. Traditional advertising a bonus.

  • Highly developed analytical & problem solving skills

  • Occasional travel to client

  • Takes initiative to drive client growth and digital innovation

At Questus, our compensation approach aligns with a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding outstanding individual and team achievements. For this role, the salary range is typically $75,000 - $95,000 USD per year. The final base pay is determined by factors like location, job-related skills, experience, and internal equity. Additionally, permanent employees may qualify for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to specific eligibility criteria.
